Our mission is simple, "giving them a doggone chance." We are a foster based rescue that helps strays, owner surrenders, and shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia list. We will take them into our rescue and get them fixed, chipped, vaccinated and adopted out to approved adopters. We also have our PAW Prison Training Program that is located at both Avenal and Corcoran State Prison. We select a group of dogs to go to the program for training at the prison with approved inmates. The dogs stay anywhere from 6-8 weeks. We have trained the inmates on basic commands, and they train the dogs. This is a wonderful program that gives both of them a doggone chance.
