🧡 You read our post about the “free” kittens, and now our inbox is overflowing… with cats who also need to be fixed. We love that so many of you want to take action. But here’s the reality: While we wish we had an army of volunteer trappers, right now we have… maybe 3 folks on the Westbank and 5 or 6 on the Eastbank. That’s not even enough to cover a quarter of the messages we’ve received since yesterday. And most of our trappers work full-time jobs and care for double-digit animals themselves. So, if you’re able-bodied and can lift a 20lb bag of dog food or wrangle a squirmy toddler, we promise—you can learn to trap.
