We envision an active, vibrant studio space where the people of Denton find the power of hope and healing through creativity and our non-traditional therapeutic process Our mission is to encourage healing and recovery through expressive art experiences for people who face mental health challenges. We aim to promote art as a means of coping and as a method for creating greater resilience in managing emotions and stress.

The Art Room provides a safe supportive studio environment for adults with mental health issues to explore artistic expression and the development of artistic skills. Our visitors will be supported in the discovery that the creative process has therapeutic value in reducing stress in promoting selfdiscovery and in providing a positive means for emotional expression.
