The Arizona Junior Rodeo Association (AJRA) was founded in 1964 and is comprised of cowboys & cowgirls from 4-18 years of age. The AJRA is committed & dedicated to developing Arizona's youth in the sport of rodeo as well as preserving the western life. TO PROMOTE THE CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES UPON WHICH THE ARIZONA JUNIOR RODEO ASSOCIATION WAS FOUNDED AND TO ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO EXHIBIT CHARACTERISTICS CONSISTENT WITH THESE IDEALS. TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CONDUCT, MORAL (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) (CONTINUED FROM PAGE 2) CHARACTER, CLEAN LIVING AND SPORTSMANSHIP AMONG ALL OF ITS MEMBERS AND MEMBER FAMILIES. TO PROMOTE AND EDUCATE OTHERS OF THE HERITAGE AND TRADITIONS OF THE SPORT OF RODEO AND THE WESTERN WAY OF LIFE. TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF RODEO FOR JUNIOR KIDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF MAINTAINING AND/OR INCREASING INTEREST IN THE SPORT AND TO BUILD CLOSER RELATIONSHIPS AMONG PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THIS ACTIVITY AND THE ORGANIZATIONS THEY MAY REPRESENT.

The Arizona Junior Rodeo Association is a statewide nonprofit organization that has been in existence for over 50 years. AJRA is comprised of cowboys cowgirls between the ages of 418 years. We are committed and dedicated to developing Arizonas youth in the sport of rodeo as well as preserving the western lifestyle. We strive to build interest understanding and appreciation for the western life teach responsibility sportsmanship hard work and family involvement.
