Founded in 1985, the mission of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society is to preserve and promote the history of the law in the west. Governed by a Board of Directors, the NJCHS serves over 2,000 members, the legal profession, historians, court personnel, school children, and the general public. Collect, preserve, and present to the public the history of law in the western United States and the Pacific Islands and to educate children and the general public about the judicial system, the rule of law, and other civic values.
