AALB: Americans Against Language Barriers
A Chicago-based 501(c)(3) public charity working to address public health concerns for those with language barriers. AALB is a nonprofit dedicated towards improving the quality of life of those with language barriers. To ensure that individuals with Limited English proficiency and Deaf individuals are not limited in their quality of life by addressing linguistic and communication barriers to access essential services.

Give your voice to patients who cannot speak for themselves AALB is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the care of patients with limited English proficiency by training medical interpreters providing language services and advocating for policy reform. What We Do Education We train professional medical interpreters with nationally recognized certificate courses continuing education. Service Weconnect charitable organizations with professional medical interpreters who wish to volunteer their time. advocacy We raise awareness and lobby for policies to improve language services for patients with limited English proficiency.
