Community capacity building through youth civic engagement. CEP offers Washington, D.C. Ward 7 and Ward 8 youth community enrichment programs and services. We encourage everyone to be active participants in their community. Together we can combat socio-economic issues one underserved community at a time. The mission of The Community Enrichment Project (CEP) is to enhance underserved communities in Washington, D.C. by encouraging civic awareness and empowering communities in order to overcome socio-economic adversities. We believe that the path to creating strong communities is dependent upon assessing community needs and building upon existing skills and talents in order to create change from within.
