Deaf New American Advocacy Inc Deaf New Americans Advocacy Inc Over the decade Syracuse has seen tremendous growth in Deaf New American services and community support to Deaf New Americans. In Central New York we have Deaf New Americans from many different nationalities our primary group is Bhutanese Nepali. We estimate that there are 50 Deaf New American Adults in the Syracuse area as well as many Deaf children Children of Deaf Adults CODAs and families with mixed hearing statuses. Asha Laaya Asha Laaya Farm of Hope is a Deaf run farm founded in 2022.
