To meet, discuss and exchange ideas to broaden public knowledge of people engaged in design, construction, maintenance, and operation of railroad equipment and fixed facilities. The club will also promote a closer alliance between railroads and railroad supply companies. In order to facilitate the educational aspects of this mission, the club will render charitable scholarships to students who commit to studying railroad engineering, and provide guest lectures and field trips for engineering student organizations to further their interest in railroad engineering. The public will also be systematically invited to club luncheons and fundraising events, with the bulk of the proceeds going toward academic scholarships and educational programs.
