2ND HAND RANCH AND RESCUE
All wildlife is given lots of TLC, and raised with the goal to release back into the wild where it is most happy. We are also a Licensed IDoA companion animal rescue, older dogs that have found their way to 'death row' in animal controls and in open door (kill) shelters, dogs with medical conditions that need much TLC to mend. The Long Term Goal of 2nd Hand since we now are a 501 (c) (3) Charity is to grow our wildlife rescue as well as create a sanctuary for abused and senior animals of all kinds. We dream of creating a weekend getaway for folks who want to spend a day in the country working with animals and learning about the beauty rural Illinois. Education classes are our passion. Monthly Open houses are scheduled to share our passion.
