Black Outside, inc works to reconnect Black/African-American youth to the outdoors through culturally relevant nature-based programming. We seek to move the needle on diversity in the outdoors and inspire the next generation of outdoor participants. Black Outside Inc reconnects Black/African-American youth to the outdoors through transformative outdoor adventures and explorations. Our programming builds on the rich cultural history of Black people in the outdoors while simultaneously enhancing the leadership skills of our youth.

Black Outside Inc is a 501c3 Texasbased organization dedicated to reconnecting Black AfricanAmerican youth to the outdoors. With the knowledge that only 1 of Texas state park participants identify as BlackAfricanAmerican Black Outside Inc BOI was founded with the mission of expanding outdoor programming to more BlackAfricanAmerican youth in central Texas. We seek to not only diversify the outdoors but cultivate a new generation of outdoor participants and leaders.
