Last night, Sgt. Yosef Yehuda Chirak, a resident of Harsha in Judea and Samaria, was killed in Gaza. This is a message he wrote to his family just a couple of weeks ago on Holocaust Remembrance Day: "My dear and beloved family! ♥️ Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day — a day when we pause for two minutes and reflect on our roots and our past, because only through that can we learn to appreciate the present and move forward with full strength toward the future and the redemption, which is advancing in giant strides, thank God! I wanted to share with you a bit of the incredible experience I was privileged to have today: During the siren, I stood on the Namer (armored vehicle) beyond the Gaza fence, in uniform and with my weapon, at a crossroads — and on one side, I saw the Daraj Tuffah neighborhood, completely leveled after the two weeks we spent there dismantling it, and on the other side, the fields of Nahal Oz and Kibbutz Kfar Aza blooming in their full, beautiful glory. I don’t know about you, but I stood there with tears in my eyes and my heart full of emotion! And what kept running through my mind was — I wish my grandparents and the generation before could see me now and be moved together with me…💔 So you should know — we have an incredible, strong people and army!! Thank God for the privilege of being part of the tip of the spear of this nation! I miss you all 💕 Yosef Yehuda" What extraordinary people we have in our nation. May his memory be a blessing. (fb)

What a weekend we’ve had! Our founder, Yigal Dilmoni, gave two powerful lectures — one at the Yeshivah of Flatbush (YOF) High School and another at Barkai Yeshivah High School in Brooklyn. He spoke about the war in Gaza and Lebanon, and the vital importance of Judea & Samaria to the Jewish people. Then, we hit the streets to celebrate the Jewish people at the Israel Day Parade! 🇮🇱 We proudly walked with our flag and logo, and were so moved by how everyone we met wanted to talk about Judea & Samaria and its importance for our future.
