A special thank you to Colorado State Senator Byron H. Pelton (R-Sterling) for taking the time to speak to the CREA board this morning at Highline Electric Association in Holyoke. During his presentation, he shared highlights from the 2025 legislative session and discussed what lies ahead for the 2026 session. We appreciate his time and insights during our meeting today! (fb)
This week, members of the CREA staff and board of directors had the opportunity to tour the CHS Grainland train load facility located outside of Holyoke, Colorado. CHS is the largest agricultural cooperative in the United States, owned by farmers and member cooperatives from across the nation. The Holyoke facility serves areas ranging from Brule, Nebraska, to Fleming, Colorado. Additionally, CREA staff and board members visited Western Potato, a potato processing facility in Holyoke.
