AS A UNIQUE CULTURAL VENUE, THE REACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER WILL OFFER EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES TO THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY OF BOTH THE DEER ISLE - STONINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE DEER ISLE - STONINGTON HIGH SCHOOL AS WELL AS THE LARGER COMMUNITY. IT IS A SPACE FOR PARTICIPATION IN A SPECTRUM OF ARTISTIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES AND A SPACE FOR LIFELONG LEARNING, COMMUNITY DIALOGUE, AND THE SHARING OF HUMAN VALUES AND EXPERIENCE. IT IS A PLACE FOR COMMUNITY COHESION.

The Reach is the home of performing arts for Deer IsleStonington schools our island community. THE REACH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER Big Reach News. We are embarking on our first ever capital campaign REACH for the FUTURE. To usher The Reach into the 21st century we must upgrade our lighting sound projection and curtain systems that means we need to raise money above and beyond our normal operating expenses and that means we need your help.
