Prior to that year there were two associations the California Association of County Tax Collectors and the California Association of County Treasurers. The purpose of CACTTC is to promote the general interests of the members and the respective counties they represent to strive for high professional standards and through the exchange of information and ideas by stimulating a friendly and cooperative spirit among the membership.
