California Association of County Treasurers & Tax Collectors
CACTTC is comprised of the Treasurer-Tax Collectors in the 58 counties throughout California. It exists to support its members in better serving the public. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE GENERAL INTERESTS OF THE ACTIVE MEMBERS AND THE RESPECTIVE COUNTIES THEY REPRESENT; TO STRIVE FOR HIGH PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND, THROUGH THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AND IDEAS, STIMULATE A FRIENDLY AND COOPERATIVE SPIRIT AMONG THE MEMBERSHIP.

Prior to that year there were two associations the California Association of County Tax Collectors and the California Association of County Treasurers. The purpose of CACTTC is to promote the general interests of the members and the respective counties they represent to strive for high professional standards and through the exchange of information and ideas by stimulating a friendly and cooperative spirit among the membership.
