ICPC Foundation advancing the art and science of competitive programming ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest The ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest traces its roots to a competition held at Texas AM in 1970 hosted by the Alpha Chapter of the UPE Computer Science Honor Society with the first Finals held in 1977. In the past 20 years the ICPC community has spread across the globe with annual participations at levels reaching 10000 volunteers and over 5000 coaches with 60000 team members representing 3450 universities in 111 countries. Even during several years of the COVID pandemic annual participation continued above 49000 team members from 2640 universities in 93 countries. The 400000 ICPC alumni are engaged in all sectors of industry business and community service.
