Rethink Identity Medicine Ethics Welcome ReIME is a nonprofit education and research organization dedicated to improving ethical long term care and treatment for gender nonconforming children and youth. We support the right of minors and young people to explore identities including sexualities and gender that is developmentally appropriate. We believe the standards of care and treatment protocols for this vulnerable population should be informed by well researched evidencebased best practices for addressing complex developmental and dysphoric issues related to identity and the body on an individualized case by case basis. We work with a diverse group of multispecialist clinicians and interdisciplinary scholars in the fields of psychiatry psychology endocrinology sociology and the law.
