Refuge Memphis
Imparting hope in time of need with food, clothing, emergency shelter, & educational pathways. Founded in 2012, Refuge Memphis is a 501 (c) 3 charity whose mission is to impart hope in time of need with food, clothing, emergency shelter, and educational pathways. The programs developed serve as C.P.R. to the community, as they are corrective, preventive, and reactionary – all designed to help break the cycle of poverty, crime, and social program dependence. Clients are:1. Poverty-stricken families 2. Homeless, fatherless or orphaned children 3. Wayward youth 4. Victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking 5. Victims of life-controlling addictions, and 6. Individuals with transitional housing needs.
