Woodstock Community Choir

Woodstock Community Choir

The Woodstock Community Choir began in January of 2015 and quickly became the official choir of the City of Woodstock, Illinois. The choir is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to building community through singing. BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH SINGING The Woodstock Community Choir is open to anyone age 16 and older who has a desire to sing, have fun and meet new people! No audition is necessary and all levels of singers are welcome. We perform twice each year on the main stage of the historic Woodstock Opera House; we also perform at other venues (e.g., assisted living facilities) and participate in community events (e.g., Woodstock's Lighting of the Square). Some of the ways we build community include social events throughout the year and by not charging for any performances (choir is supported through voluntary donations and membership fees).
