History and Founding

Eifocus Inc. was founded by Sarah Kivel, who drew from her personal experiences as a collegiate athlete and her professional background in emotional intelligence coaching. Kivel's motivation stemmed from her own challenges as an athlete, including feeling disconnected from her coach and facing stress from balancing school and sports. She believes that integrating emotional intelligence skills could have positively impacted her decision to quit sports.

Mission

The mission of Eifocus Inc. is to train coaches and athletes in emotional intelligence and leadership skills, ensuring that female athletes thrive in sports and beyond. The organization focuses on developing essential life skills such as stress management, teamwork, and decision-making, which are crucial for overcoming barriers that often lead to high dropout rates among female athletes.

Impact

Eifocus Inc. has had a significant impact, with over 14,000 athletes and 300 coaches participating in its programs. The organization aims to expand its reach to impact 25,000 female athletes by 2025, with a particular focus on providing opportunities to underserved athletes who face significant barriers.
