As part of this work, they are supporting some of SV@Home’s #AffordableHousingMonth educational programming, creating new written content on the housing needs of Santa Clara County’s agricultural workers for SV@Home’s website, and joining our team as we meet with local elected officials. Still buzzing from the beauty and power of our 3rd Annual Women Leading in Housing Brunch 💜 As part of #AffordableHousingMonth, we gathered with women who are driving this movement forward with heart, vision, and grit. We’re especially grateful to the brilliant speakers who made the morning unforgettable: 💥 Tomiquia Moss, Secretary of the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency 💥 Noni Ramos, Chief Executive Officer at Housing Trust Silicon Valley 💥 Regina Celestin Williams, Executive Director of @svathome 💥 Nevada Merriman, MidPen Housing’s VP of Policy and Advocacy 💥 A moving performance from Kuumba 💥 And Supervisor Margaret Abe-Koga , County Supervisor Susan Ellenberg, & Supervisor Betty Duong who reminded us of the powerful impact of Measure A, the housing bond that continues to transform lives. Their words reclaimed the success of local investment and reminded us: the public will and leadership can move housing justice forward.
