SCARS KIDS is only nonprofit organization dedicated to sending personalized care packages to children who have sustained trauma level injuries caused by canine attacks. Along with a personalized gift, each package contains hope in the form of a letter and a photo from a child survivor who understands what they are going through and is praying for their recovery. In addition, we offer support and resources to the family. Our long term objective is to operate a weekend retreat where survivors will meet annually in a fun and safe environment. We want to provide a place where these kids are given the opportunity to build lasting friendships with other survivor children who understand what they’ve been through, share similar experiences, and are without judgement.
