Preserving Cambodias golden age of pop music 19551975 The Cambodian Vintage Music Archive CVMA is a US 501c3 organization founded in 2010 to preserve promote and perpetuate the legacy of the musicians and composers from Cambodians Golden Era pre1975 before the Khmer Rouge destroyed the film and music industry and to assist the collectors and families of the artists with financial compensation. Creating a digital archive CVMA seeks to professionally archive all existing recordings and documentation concerning pre1975 Cambodian music along with written and oral history of the artists. Sharing our work CVMA is involved in reissuing the music in its original vinyl format and hifi digital transfers.
