Home - morethanwelcome.org More Than Welcome is a nonprofit organization that supports refugees and asylum seekers in the Austin Area and Central Texas Uniting activating the Church We believe that by uniting educating and activating the local Church we will have a greater impact and multiply the collective effort support and love for refugees and asylum seekers across greater Austin. Stepping into the gap We aim to be a resource to help bridge the gap for refugees and asylum seekers starting a new life and striving for selfsufficiency yet struggling with the difficulties that entails in our local community. Sharing the love of Christ We will share the gospel and love of Christ with refugees and asylum seekers and either connect them with local churches for ongoing discipleship or set up new church plants in heart languages. Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.
