Donate Follow Us Supporting Alameda Parks Founded in 1982 Friends of Alameda Parks and Recreation Foundation Incorporated Friends of the Parks is celebrating its 40th anniversary of service and funding to the Alameda community. Friends of the Parks is a nonprofit 501c 3 organization whose mission is to promote protect and support recreation and park activities as well as community wellness in Alameda. We support the preservation and improvements of resources through sponsoring local programs and projects in cooperation with the Alameda community and the Alameda Recreation and Park Department. Our success is dependent upon our members volunteers and individualbusiness donors.
