Kids Bike Lane (KBL) is a non-profit organization that partners with charities, community groups, civic organizations, schools, corporations, and individuals to provide brand-new bikes for under-served children and youth in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area with the goal of empowering them to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Kids Bike Lane | Bikes for Youth in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties We empower kids to live a healthy active lifestyle At Christmas we provide brand new bikes to underserved youth in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties so that they can get to school and jobs on time as well as have fun with their friends. What We Do BIG BIKE BUILD Annually on the first Saturday of December we conduct a Big Bike Build at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton California. In 2021 about 275 volunteers helped assemble 600 bikes that were in turn given to 21 charities to present to their familychildren clients. TEAM BUILDING BIKE BUILDS We partner with companies and other organizations to provide a team building and community service activity for their employees as they assemble new bikes to be given to kids in need in their community.
