Dabuco – Dallas Burundian Community The journey to upward mobility begins with community support working together and encouragement We are former Burundian Refugees whom few have managed to integrate and become American citizens. We are those sons and daughters whose parents have been massacred in the first African genocide in Burundi whose story has never been told. We are those sons and daughters who were born refugees and grew up in war zone and never get a chance for education. Our goal is to build our selfreliance and strengthen our capacity in Dallas Fort Worth and become contributing members of society while enduring our bitter history.
