Helping Hands for South Sudan is a nonprofit charity based in Palo Alto, California. Our mission is to make education possible for South Sudan's refugee children. Building a better South Sudan through education. HHSS provides tuition, room and board, rent and food for South Sudanese student refugees in Uganda and South Sudan. In 2023 we assisted over 750 elementary and high school students in Uganda and South Sudan.
