Ball 4 a Cure Uniting communities to support the patients and families impacted by pediatric cancer. our Story Ball 4 a Cure was founded in 2015 by seven childhood friends fromWest Hartford Connecticutwith a goalof supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families. What started as a 3v3 basketball tournament on blacktop courts in West Hartford soon evolved to a multifaceted nonprofitorganization hosting several annual events across many different communities. In 2019 Ball 4 a Cure receivedofficial nonprofit status and establishedtheBall 4 a Cure Family Support Fund at Connecticut Childrens Hospital which assures that families in financial need receive the resources they need so each child in treatment has a safe warm and secure home to return to when they leave the Center for Cancer Blood Disorders.
