THE GEORGE FLOYD MEMORIAL CENTER INC WAS STARTED BY THE FAMILY OF GEORGE FLOYD, WHO WAS MURDERED IN MAY OF 2020. HIS FAMILY WANTED TO CREATE A LEGACY THAT WILL HONOR THE MAN AND ALSO BE A CONTINUOUS GIVING SOURCE IN ORDER TO HONOR HIS HEART. THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS, PROMOTE THE ARTS AND PROMOTE YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.

WHY WE EXIST The idea for this organization was birth after the tragic death of George Floyd on May 25 2020. This incident sparked a global uprising calling for justice and equality for all humans. The rallying cries of Say HerHis Name Black Lives Matter and No Justice No Peace were heard worldwide.
