Why do we exist According to the World Health Organization Cardiovascular diseases CVDs are the number 1 cause of death globally more people die annually from CVDs than from any other cause. Over threequarters of those deaths happen in low and middleincome countries. Patients suffer from poor outcomes when medical education is not optimal and many institutions in rural areas dont have the resources to provide optimal medical training.
