Awareness Education Community Joe Philpott and Peter Carver Avalanche Scholarship About the Scholarship Two Durango families lost loved ones to avalanches in 2013. To honor the memory of Joe Philpott and peter carver and all those we have lost in the mountains we have set up a scholarship fund for all ages and backgrounds to access avalanche educatioN. Ready to help.
