Sahuaro Central Railroad – Come ride the rails…… Sahuaro Central Railroad Come ride the rails Sahuaro Central Railroad Come ride the rails Home The SAHUARO CENTRAL RAILROAD is an Arizona nonprofit tax exempt organization whose mission is to operate a 15 gauge scale miniature railroad for educational historical recreational purposes. We are located in the ADOBE DAM RECREATION AREA in north Phoenix Arizona. We currently operate on about 14 mile of track and the ride lasts about 8 minutes. We currently have a 1859 440 steam profile gas powered Hurlbut locomotive that pulls two converted trolly cars and a conductor car.
