The Children and Family Enrichment Center at Idlewild (CAFE) provides tools for lifelong resilience to children and families throughout the Mid-South. According to the American Psychological Association, “Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress.” CAFE recognizes that resilience is not a trait, but a learned skill.
