Founded in 2007 with a unique mission for dancer wellness Charlottesville Ballet is the only full time professional dance company in the Charlottesville area. CoFounders Sara Clayborne and Emily Hartka are committed to elevating professional ballet with a healthy working environment for the artists. ✨ Take Flight This Summer at Swan Lake Camp. 🩰🦢 Let your child’s imagination soar at our Swan Lake Camp, a magical week of dance and creativity for ages 5–7. From June 9–13, young dancers will spread their wings and step into the story of Swan Lake discovering graceful ballet steps, exploring Tchaikovsky's music, and learning about the characters in this classic ballet.
