Our vision is to provide artistic, cultural and educational programming in order to increase cultural understanding and promote social justice . Our mission is to promote democratic participation, empower economically and socially disadvantaged communities, and improve the health of at-risk communities by providing theoretical education and hands-on organizing experience to community activists, especially young people of color.

Sol Collective A cultural hub in Sacramento Sol Collective is a 3200 square foot space that transforms to fit the expressive needs of the community it serves. From invigorating wellness programs and inspiring multimedia arts exhibitions to city commissioned events and international festivals Sol Collective serves as an amplification to the often unheard voices of cultural artists and communities. Established in 2005 Sol Collective is a communitybased partnership whose mission is to provide artistic cultural and educational programming promote social justice and empower youth through art activism music and media experience. Sol Collective provides art exhibitions community workshops youth programming and a platform for public organizing.
