Congratulations, Courtney, for being recognized with the Kansas Climate and Energy Project 2025 Changemaker Award. We appreciate Courtney’s leadership, as the Executive Director Native Lands Restoration Collaborative, helping communities and other land stewards to protect and restore resilient native ecosystems. The Collaborative’s efforts to teach historic conservation practices, spearhead community-centered restoration practices to return native species to the landscape, and cultivating a network of land stewards helps ensure that residents of northeastern Kansas have access to native landscapes now and for generations to come.
