The Grief House supports virtual and in-person offerings for grievers in Portland, OR and Atlanta, GA The Grief House aims to craft an inclusive, accessible, and holistic approach to grief. We achieve this in part by creating and holding virtual and in-person spaces to support individuals as they tend to and integrate many different kinds of loss and grief. The Grief House supports feeling grief as it shows up, as a non-hierarchical, non-specific emotion or multitude of emotions. We believe that there is no expiration date on grief and welcome people living with recent or time-distant losses into our community. The Grief House offers and sponsors virtual and physical activities and gatherings in which grief can be present, can be observed, tended, expressed, or experienced through a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional channels.
