Hawkins Scholarship Foundation
The Hawkins Scholarship Foundation was established to celebrate the memory of Daelyn Jamiell Hawkins. She was most adamant about a child’s ability to read and comprehend because she knew in her heart that it would open doors that could not be shut. We organized The Hawkins Scholarship Foundation to, first and foremost, pay homage to Daelyn. The foundation will continue her legacy with “the gift of learning”. In her memory, our goal is to offer need-based scholarships for students attempting to launch their academic journey, daycares, and schools whose libraries could use an injection of goodwill. The scholarship funds are also used to help parents who may need assistance with uniforms for their children.
