The Coffee Trust The coffee trade is built on the backs of those at the bottom BUT WE CAN FIX THAT We are a 501c3 nonprofit on a mission to help indigenous coffee farmers in Guatemala. We collaborate with participants to design projects that lead toward selfmanagementthe ultimate goal is for our partner organizations to take full responsibility for their projects and to become their own advocates. We help by working with communities to develop Agriculture The Coffee trade is volatile and most so for the producers and farmers at the very bottom. To combat this extreme income instability we work to help diversify farmer incomes by helping to introduce hardier new coffee plants educate farmers on beekeeping and providing access to training and infrastructure to support other value added crops as additional sources of income.
