Lapeer County Search and Rescue Lapeer County Search and Rescue Our Mission While based in Lapeer County and a subdivision of the Lapeer County Sheriffs Office LCSAR assists communities across the state when requested by law enforcement. The team is comprised of professionally trained volunteers that strive to execute well planned searches to locate lost or missing persons alive or deceased both in urban and wilderness environments. Constant training and skills practice are conducted to maintain this ability. Lapeer County Search and Rescue LCSAR was formed in 2018 as a subdivision of the Lapeer County Sheriffs Department.
