The NCC is honored to announce our Compton Unified School District partnership with a new vocal arts program at Compton High School. This scholarship-funded initiative empowers Compton students to pursue artistic excellence through an accredited in-school course that provides access to NCC’s conductors, Scholars curriculum, and performances locally, nationally and abroad. Having officially launched in January, with our first performance this week, the NCC is working to build a robust program that will inspire the community’s young voices to reach their potential as they look ahead to the opening of the Andre ‘Dr.
