The idea that gun rights matter so much as to negate all other social concerns is equally as preposterous. This country has more than enough people who intuitively understand both of these concepts. The idea that a gun organization has to choose between monomaniacal gun support or seeing guns as a pall on society is an idea generated by Americans that are holding back sustainable progress in the associated areas not by Americans leading us to better results.
