Yi Hwang Academy of Language Excellence (YHALE) is a state-wide, tuition-free, dual language (English/Korean or English/Mandarin) immersion charter school (K-8) in Duluth. We exist as an extension of the school to help with any volunteer needs the school cannot meet as well as assist in raising funds for projects that are beyond the school's budget. Being a charter school, YHALE does not receive as much funding as public schools. This creates a challenge for all of us to come together and we hope to overcome. At the same time, it gives us an opportunity to grow together and really emphasize what is important to us. We hope that we can be a bridge for the parents and surrounding YHALE community with the school and will do our best to be of service to all
