Roy Lozano's Ballet Folklorico de Texas strives to provide cultural education and execute Ballet Folklorico dance at its highest excellence. Roy Lozano’s Ballet Folklórico de Texas’ (RLBFT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the state’s cultural wealth by sharing high quality Mexican folk dance and education programs with all. Our programs serve to educate and preserve the vast cultures and traditions of Mexican folk dance through teaching and performance, with a focus on affordability and accessibility to all. The Performing Company was founded in 1982, and the School of Dance was formed in 1986. Our newest program, Bailes de Mi Tierra, is a regional dance competition attracting dancers from across Texas and neighboring states. Our continued vision is to be Texas’ premier ballet folklórico company where anyone can perform professionally & celebrate our legacy of excellence.

Our Programs School of Dance The School of Dance is our foundational program providing students of all ages with opportunities to learn and practice Mexican folkloric dances in structured classes or in private lessons. Performing Company The talented dancers of the RLBFT Performing Company can be seen performing a diverse repertoire of dances from throughout Mexico.
