In 2016, we became a part of Pride Foundation to better create safe, affirming communities for every person in Oregon. The purpose and mission of the Equity Foundation is to “leverage resources to create social, economic, and political equity for the LGBTQ community”. Equity prioritizes its funding to support organizations isolated from traditional funding sources as it represents the interests of the LGBTQ community and those that promote and celebrate diversity and inclusion. Equity’s vision is to be the first choice for investment in positive social change for the LGBTQ community.
