The DHBA's goal is to provide legal services to the Hispanic community, to enrich and ensure the success of its members in the legal profession in Dallas and to actively become involved in issues affecting the Hispanic community. The purpose of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association is to promote the social, economic, educational, and civic advancement of the DFW Metroplex Hispanic community.The DHBA represents and advocates the interests of DFW Hispanic attorneys and their communities; fosters fellowship between the members of the DHBA and other members of the legal profession; encourages and promotes professional growth and good standing; develops and encourages cooperation with other organizations of minority attorneys; and plans community outreach events that provide legal assistance to the Hispanic community.

Dallas Hispanic Bar Association

The Dallas Hispanic Bar Association (DHBA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the social, economic, educational, and civic advancement of the Hispanic community in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Formerly known as the Mexican American Bar Association of Dallas, the DHBA serves as a platform for Hispanic attorneys to exchange ideas and pursue common goals.

Purpose

The primary objectives of the DHBA include making the legal system more accessible and responsive to the needs of the Hispanic community. It aims to represent and advocate for the interests of Hispanic attorneys and their communities, foster professional growth, and develop cooperation with other minority attorney organizations. Membership

Members are part of a professional network of over 350 lawyers and students, benefiting from professional development, networking, and social events. The association is affiliated with the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), providing members with access to broader networking opportunities across the U.S.

  • Dallas Latina Leadership Program: Supports leadership development among Latina attorneys and promotes leadership roles within the legal community.
