Mission

The mission of the Figure 1 Foundation is to educate, enable, and inspire the general aviation community, fostering growth and safety in the aviation industry. Scholarships Offered

• Fixed Wing Private Pilot License Scholarship: Open to U.S. citizens aged 15 and older, this scholarship supports individuals in obtaining their private pilot license.

• Tail-wheel Endorsement Scholarship: For those who already hold a private pilot license, this scholarship provides funding for a tail-wheel endorsement.

• Upset Recovery/Spin Training and Introduction to Aerobatics Scholarship: Available to private pilots, this scholarship focuses on advanced flying techniques and recovery training.

• Aerobatic Judge Certification Scholarship: This scholarship assists pilots who aim to become certified judges in aerobatic competitions.

Funding and Support

The Figure 1 Foundation is funded through corporate donations and partnerships, allowing it to provide substantial scholarship amounts to eligible candidates.
