ASWIS promotes a social worker insports perspective that is grounded in social and economic justice strengthbased approaches and personinenvironment frameworks. ASWIS encourages the full range of social work practice in sports from case management and clinical servicesthrough advocacy and policypractice for every level and segment of sports. ASWIS finalized its incorporation inJune 2016 and become an official501c3in March of 2017.
