The Carpe Diem Foundation Now ACCEPTING DONATIONS About Our Foundation The Carpe Diem Foundation was formed by Lauren Menning and Julie Patton after Laurens battle with breast cancer in 2020. Lauren and Julie have been close friends for 18 years and have shared many of lifes events together. Lauren invited Julie to help support her on her cancer journey knowing that Julie had already helped her sister fight a similar battle several years prior. After successfully completing her treatments Lauren and Julie were motivated by an immense sense of gratitude and an overwhelming desire to help others.
